Because Belgium is a Federal state, that’s why training subsidies are regionalized. Here, therefore, an overview of the possibilities offered by the Brussels-Capital Region, Flanders and Wallonia.
Training subsidies in the Brussels -Capital:
-* This is open to SMEs (< 250 employees) and self employed installed in the Brussels-Capital Region.
-* The application must be submitted no later than 1 month after the start of the training .
-* Response rate : 50%
-* Ceiling of aid: € 5,000 by training (minimum € 500)

Training aid in Flanders:
-* The SME portfolio provides grants amounting to a maximum of 50 % of the cost of training and are capped at € 2,500 per year per SME .
-* The Flemish Region grants are aimed at SMEs and professionals in the Flemish Region.
-* The grant application must be submitted by the SMEs via the website http://www.kmo-portefeuille.be/ and will be processed electronically.
-* To access the input system, you must be in possession of an electronic identity card.
Aid Wallonia:
-* Headquarters activities in the Walloon Region (excluding German-speaking Community , zip code between 4700 and 4791 ) .
-* Maximum 250 workers or be independent.
-* Turnover maximum € 50 million or balance sheet total of maximum € 43 million.
-* Company autonomous ( or unrelated business partner).
-* A company based on the number of workers employed full-time , is available at maximum 100 to 800 checks per calendar year .
Procedure :
-# The request must be done via FOREM Council http://www.leforem.be/entreprises/aides/formation/cheque-formation.html introduced within 14 calendar days after the start of the training .
-# FOREM verifies that the company complies with the conditions and, if this is the case, endorses the issuer checks ( Sodexo ) .
-# The company then checks to Sodexo ‘s command : it pays the number of checks it wants (multiple 15 € ) .
-# Upon receipt of payment at Sodexo , she sees her virtual wallet credited with the number of checks ordered.
